Who are we?
Location Word is a company specializing in developing telematics technology and new business models through the Internet of Things (IoT) for the automotive, transportation, security, logistics, and insurance industries, among others. Its goal is to provide access to Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions that optimize processes and resources, increase the profitability of operations, and bring end users closer through new cloud-based management tools.
For ten years, Location World has stood out in Latin America as the fastest-growing company, connecting thousands of vehicles across the region. This allows businesses to control and optimize their own or outsourced fleets, while also enabling insurers and vehicle dealerships to gain deeper insights into their customers. In the Fleet Management sector, we operate in nine countries, serving over 6,500 organizations with more than 90,000 connected vehicles. Our clients include companies such as Avis, Anheuser-Busch InBev, Prosegur, Techint, and many others.
By leveraging data generated by connected cars in a Software as a Service (SaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS) model, we create powerful business ecosystems to strengthen the value chain of different sectors and thus enhance the value of Smart Data for business development in this digital age.
With our robust Fleet Management solution, CarSync Fleet, we are prepared to capitalize on market opportunities and capture some of the growth (projected $33.9 billion in Global Fleet Management services revenue by 2026).
At the same time, with our CarSync Drive service, Location World is positioning itself as a regional leader in Connected Car solutions, a market that projects a growth of $166 billion by 2025 in the existing car fleet.
CarSync is also enabling Telematic Insurance models in different countries in the region, a market that has a "projected growth of $5.7 trillion by 2025".
We currently operate with our own offices in Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Argentina, and Spain; and we are in the process of opening offices and operations in other countries in the LATAM region.

Daniel Wainmann
With over 20 years of experience in successful technological ventures at a regional and international level in the field of Fleet Management, Location-Based Services (LBS), Telematics and Connected Car.
Daniel was co-founder of Road Track, developer and operator of the renowned telematics system and service ChevyStar© of General Motors© at a regional level, partner and strategic ally of Waze© for Latin America (app that was bought by Google in 2013 for $1.15 billion dollars).
Daniel is co-founder and director of VisIC Technologies, a successful Israeli startup dedicated to developing a disruptive generation of Gallium Nitride (GAN) semiconductors that enable groundbreaking energy optimization. Daniel is a member of the Endeavor network.

Benny Saada
Benny has over 15 years of experience in systems development, telematics platforms, Fleet Management and Location-Based Services (LBS).
He participated in the development and integration of the vehicle location and recovery platform for Safecom and Pointer in Israel. He was the regional Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of Road Track, developer and operator of General Motors' renowned ChevyStar telematics system and service, was involved in the technological implementation of Waze in Latin America, and led the development of Location World's Connected Car technology concept called Carsync. He is a member of Endeavor.

Juan Ugalde
Juan has over 20 years of experience in Corporate Finance and eight years in corporate banking. He has extensive knowledge in Financial Management, including the development of Road Track's regional financial scheme, development and operation of General Motors' renowned ChevyStar telematics system and service in Latin America, and was part of the Latin American team for the implementation of Waze.
Specializing in the generation of financial models for Connected Car, Telematics Insurance, and Location Services businesses. He is a member of Endeavor.
